Ait Bou Sbaa rug (Bousbaa means lion in arabic) or Ouled Bou Sbaa tribe is a nomadic tribe living in Morocco and Mauritania, as well as in Western Sahara. The tribe practice, commerce from Senegal to Marrakech. A carpet from the Oulad Bou Shaa tribe, for instance, has its major motif woven just off center. Their traditional history was important in the landscape of the Mauritanian tribes and their amazing one-of-a-kind carpets has acquired more wealth and power in the recent years.
